About Emma Waddington
Dr. Emma Waddington has a Ph.D. in Psychology and completed a MSc. in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). In addition to her clinical work, Emma is an adjunct associate professor at the psychology department at National University of Singapore. Prior to moving to Singapore, Emma has worked in the UK as Clinical Psychologist and CBT Psychotherapist in local services, hospitals and private sector. She also worked as a clinical supervisor at the Anna Freud Centre, University College London and a visiting lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College, London.
Emma has a wealth of experience working with children and families using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to help them overcome emotional difficulties such as anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, anger management and behavioural difficulties. She also works with adults treating range of mental health conditions.
She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the British Health Professions Council and is a chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. She is also accredited as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist by the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists).
